EnergiData rampens up – with new AI Strategy and new leadership forces
EnergiData embarked on a significant and transformative growth journey in 2020, using the development and application of technology as the driving force behind the company’s growth. Since then, the company has further enhanced its growth strategy, delivering a stable increase in its growth rate each year over the past five years. In fact, EnergiData has grown by an impressive 78 percent over the past two years alone, earning Gazelle status in 2024.
The next step in the company’s long-term growth plan involves substantial investments in one of the key elements of our strategic 2030 plan—our technology platform.
We are now taking a major leap toward the future of the EMS landscape by increasing our investment in innovation and artificial intelligence (AI). We have been committed to technological development for years, and with the establishment of a new department, the “Department of AI & Innovation,” EnergiData is enhancing its resources and execution of our AI strategy as part of the company’s future growth.
As of September 1, 2024, Lars Hansen, who has served as CIO, has been appointed Director of AI & Innovation. Since 2014, Lars has been a key figure and innovative driving force in the development of the company’s core product, MinEnergi2. His tremendous effort over the past 10 years has brought our EMS platform to its strong position today. With this background rooted in innovation, Lars is now leading the new department, which will focus on integrating AI into EnergiData’s core product, MinEnergi2, to make energy monitoring easy, automatic, and as intelligent as possible for our customers.
With Lars taking on this new role, EnergiData also welcomes Brendan Puli as the new CIO.
Brendan brings a solid background in cloud technology, leadership, and international experience, with a broad expertise ranging from hands-on software engineering to leading large technical teams, and experience across various industries. This diverse background makes him ideal for driving technological development and innovation at EnergiData.
“This is a truly exciting opportunity, in a time that requires constant change, and in a company with a clear focus on energy efficiency—and how technology plays a crucial role in the green transition. EnergiData is on an extraordinary growth journey with ambitious plans, both for the company and its customers. I look forward to scaling our technological reach and capabilities to place us at the forefront of future energy monitoring and making energy efficiency even more impactful in the future.”
